Dear High School Students, Counselors and Faculty:
The Houston, TX Chapter of the Southern University Alumni
Federation is pleased to announce the annual Family Day
Extravaganza on "Scotts Bluff", the Baton Rouge Campus, on
Saturday October 8th, 2011.
High School Juniors, Seniors, and their families
are invited to attend.

Come and hear a great gospel choir

Visit with
college professors and administrators,

Obtain information from the Office
of Financial Aid, Office of Admissions, and Residential Housing
|
 |
Enjoy sounds from the "baddest" band in the land-The Human
Jukebox, otherwise known as the Southern University Marching Band
|

Join in with cheers from Southern
University cheerleaders
|
 |
Tour one of the most attractive
campuses in the South.
|
The Houston Alumni Chapter encourages local students to
attend our Alma Mater. We will charter a bus to this event; and
provide a continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and tickets to the
Southern University vs. Prairie View A&M University game. The cost is
$80 per student.
If you know a high school student who would be
interested in attending the Family Day festivities, please encourage
them to pay and reserve a seat as soon as possible. The
deadline for reserving bus seats is
September 24, 2011 but we
anticipate the bus will fill up fast – its first come, first served.
