2026 Scholarship Awards Ceremony

Now that the 2026 Scholarship Awards Ceremony has concluded, the Southern University Alumni Federation (SUAF) Houston Chapter is proud to reflect on another remarkable year of service, generosity, and impact. Through the dedication of our members, the generosity of our sponsors and donors, and the unwavering support of our community, the chapter successfully awarded 43 scholarships totaling $72,000 to deserving students attending Southern University. This accomplishment represents more than financial assistance, it reflects our collective commitment to empowering future leaders and expanding educational opportunities for the next generation. Since its founding in 1968, the Houston Chapter has remained steadfast in its mission to support Southern University students, and this year’s scholarship awards stand as a testament to the strength of that enduring legacy. We are honored to invest in the success of these outstanding scholars and look forward to witnessing the positive contributions they will make in their communities, professions, and beyond.
